Like a piece of sea glass found on the shore, each piece in this collection feels softened by water and sun. I paint every one by hand on black walnut, letting greens, turquoise, and sky blue swirl together like shallow water over sand. The color just glows from all of the metallic paint.

Some styles are simple and sleek, and others are layered with fringed leather, frosted glass beads, and silver, but all of them are lightweight, one of a kind, and never repeated. The grain of the walnut and the movement of the paint are different every time.
